    Interview by Chris Wright

T666 T666 is a deathmetal group from Bondi Beach, Sydney Australia. They formed in September 1998 and released their first product, the 3 track MCD, in July 1999. The group consists of Lee Sherar - vocals, Angus Baker - drums, and David D on guitar. Soon on the way is the next version of their web site, and they are performing very well in the Online Australian music charts, currently ranked in the top three bands list. Skaterock.com brings you this interview with David:

What are some of your accomplishments so far?

The Mini CD we made at Festival Studio was cool, it has the most heavily triggered bass drums of all time. That means if you have a good car sub-stereo system you are going to hurt people with da bass.

Do all the members skate? How much of your audience do you think are skaters?

Yes, we all skate, but I am by far the best skater, heh. I am trying to get good enough to enter the Vert Ramp contest at the next Extreme Games, last year I snapped my ACL dropping in, so the pressure is on. Don't laugh man. Ill do anything if it means T666 can get a chance to play live at the Games.

Snowboarding is also cool, this season was the first time I made it to the second day without being hospitalised. I hope everyone who listens to T666 music skates, snowboards and surfs. If they dont then they should start right now.

Do you have any new tracks coming out soon?

We are going to release an 11 track album early in 2001. 100% shock value violence. At every level possible we are using the latest in Digital Sound Technology, just like a nuclear bomb coming from your stereo. Its going to be the Heavy Weight Champion of the World in Audio Violence.

What further plans do you have for this year?

CD Cover This year is just preparation, but 2001 is going to be a big year. We want our music on the latest gaming projects. My favorite games are Half-Life, Solider Of Fortune, Unreal and Quake, and hopefuly those dudes will include our music in their next projects. You're going to hear T666 in a Feature Film and at Extreme Sport festivals and International Artist supports. Straight to the point like colliding head on with a SEMI TRAILER at 300 miles per hour, people will know when T666 is playin'.

So how important do you think the internet is for artists in terms of promotion?

For us the Internet = Power and Freedom. And in terms of promotion there is nothing better than having that. We bypass our Enemies, dnd we are finding our friends from all over the world.

How can people buy or listen to your music?

WWW.T666.COM, that's all people need to know. Check it out.

Do you have any final comments?

Thanks for the interview man. Thanks to skaterock.com, T666.com and all the people who enjoy Extreme Sports and Music.
