![]() Live Skate Rock at EMP By Michael Cornelius Saturday the parking lot next to the Seattle Center Skatepark was transformed into an outdoor music venue. The stage was set up about 50 yards from the skatepark gate and the free concert raged from about noon until 7:00 p.m. Local bands The Spits, The
Vaccines and North American Bison opened up. Agent Orange played
an unscheduled set due to the fact that the US Bombs' guitar player didn't
get a flight into town. It was actually fitting that they got
onto the bill as their surf/punk mix was an early favorite among skaters.
JFA closed out the afternoon by playing a mix classics and newer songs.
Later inside the high-tech Sky Church at EMP Powerflex 5 featuring Salba on guitar opened up for the mighty TSOL. Jack was his usual self and quite
