    Keep Talking About It
    9/02/2005

What can we do?  Keep talking about it.  That's what the Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans says we can do to press the government into action in the inexcusable situation in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.  See his interview here:

    http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/02/nagin.transcript/index.html

So I'm doing what I can; asking you to keep talking about it.  I already donated, you probably have too.  I can't stand to see people suffering and dieing on the streets of an american city for want of water, food and shelter.  My sadness has turned to anger.  A tragedy has turned into a travesty.  We must all demand that the right thing be done immediately.  There is no holiday weekend for the victims.

Look up your senator and congressman at http://www.vote-smart.org.  Fax them or call them and demand action now.  Ask everyone you know to do the same.  Keep talking about it.

SkateRock is Music For Skaters by Skaters
Skate Rock wasn't born, created or invented. Skate Rock was inevitable. Skaters are skaters first and foremost and whatever other labels society tries to lay on us are shunned. We define ourselves. A big part of that is making our own music. Musical influences from outside skate culture were filtered, twisted and adapted. Skaters took the loud fast and angry parts of punk, stripped away the fashion pose, and injected new ideas and humor to create Skate Rock. For skaters by skaters.

Believe in the Skate Culture Revolution! Long live Skate Rock!
